account for the day

so far I've pooped twice,
less than usual,
and it's only 3:00,
and I woke up on time
and skipped class
to clear my head,
and over lunch
(two pieces of pizza,
one pepperoni,
one chicken with
tomatoes and garlic)
I worried too much about love,
and got nowhere,
and took the bus to work,
and now I'm at the office
having made about 16 dollars so far
and in that time
I've read 20 poems,
counted the chairs on a floor diagram
for my boss who reminds me
of a friend's girlfriend,
drank coffee I somehow paid
38 cents for, and told a couple
that they couldn't get married here,
but that there were other places
I could recommend.
