William, it was really nothing
when we slowdanced thru space
I honestly tried
my hardest not to hurt you
but your ironed your suit
while wearing it
so you wouldn't be late
and the lace on my sleeves
couldn't take it and mouldered
when you ran into the center of the ballroom
where everyone crowded around you
but kept their distance watching you almost slip
catching yourself on the gleaming floor
I stamped my feet and rattled my eyes
at the heavens in frustration
Why did you do this
Why did you make me do this
It was all leather, really
and I tried to hold the form
clamped in my jaws
but it was boiling, William,
boiling away
Is that all you have to say
about it?
