blackbird

i forgot about the bird in my pocket he was a piece of flat black textbook plastic from binding and i took him out of there and snapped off extraneous wings and made a divot in the middle like a watercolor of a beach. like a flat 'w.' but then i thought of a bunch of them not quite in a natural swirling clump like regular birds but as if the plastic came first and the wings weren't snapped yet and they were in parallel lines but just a little diagonal from your vantage point all with divots in different places to a type of curve equation or something, i didn't want to figure it out but the bird wasn't in my pocket he's on the desk lying flat like he wasn't a bird anymore so he must have flown away while i ate lunch.
